Meeting Preliminaries

• President’s greeting and call to order
• Introduction of officers; recognition of NP students and guests
• Approval of January’s Business Meeting Minutes  [Motion to approve made by Stephanie Gerhart; seconded by Vivian Jimenez; approved unanimously]
• Job announcements None 

New Business

• Special recognition of outgoing officer Kim Billingsley
• NP Highlight: John Cline, MSN, APRN, FNP-C; works at UMC Emergency Department.
• New t-shirts and sweatshirts available for purchase
• Membership forms and fees- $30 for student members, $60 for members All done electronically on SPNPA ENP website. Can be set up for auto renewal. It is a rolling membership. This allows you to become a member of the group at any point throughout the year and membership will be up for renewal or expire one year from date of joining/renewal. 

**Please register or renew membership to continue to receive full access to all membership benefits.  

• There is a UMC Conference on August 22nd.

• Texas Nurse Practitioner Regional Capitol Days

Miscellaneous Announcements

• All SPNPA meetings will start at 6 pm to allow for business meetings, networking, introductions, recognition, etc. 
• Members who would like to promote/advertise their business and/or who would like to bring awareness to specific health needs of the community are encouraged to reach out to the Executive Committee to be added to an upcoming meeting agenda.
