Legislative Visits:

Please register before January 16th for an opportunity to do legislative visits.

Texas State Capitol - the North and South Entrances are open to the public. East and West are only for employees.

Agenda:

8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Registration  

9:00 – 9:20 a.m. Welcome Remarks from invited legislative guest

9:20 – 10:20 a.m.  Session 1 - APRN Alliance Legislative Panel

10:20 – 10:30 a.m. Break

10:30 – 11:30 a.m.  Session 2 - Preparing for your legislative visit

11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Come and Go Boxed Lunch / Legislative Visits

 

Registration Fees:

Register by 1/27/23:
Members: $75
Non-members: $150

Registration after 1/27/23:
Members: $100
Non-members: $175

Online registration will close Friday 1/27/23 at 11 PM CST. Onsite registration will be available at the Capitol 2/3/22 at 8 am. 

Continuing Education:

This activity is awarded 3 CE hours. Completion of the course evaluation is required for CE.


Provider Statement:

Texas Nurse Practitioners is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Louisiana State Nurses Association Approver Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. LSNA Provider No. 4003232.
In order to receive your CE Certificate, you must participate in the event and complete the evaluation.


Cancellation Notice:

Cancellations must be made in writing no later than January 13, 2023. Send requests to Bella Stewart at bella@texasnp.org or via mail at 4425 S MoPac, Building III, Suite 405, Austin, TX 78735. Cancellations can also be faxed to (512) 291-6225. All cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee. NO CANCELLATIONS will be accepted after January 13, 2023. Cancellation refunds will be issued within 1-2 weeks.
